We invite you to join us in our 4th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee and Resource Fair to honor and celebrate. Started by Voice of the People in 2021, the Juneteenth Jubilee was a way for neighbors to come together and reignite the positive energy of the community in the aftermath of the pandemic. It has continued to grow ever since!
4th Annual Juneteenth Event and Resource Fair
Date: Saturday, June 15, 2024 Time: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM

The Fair hosts a variety of community partners with informational tables set up around the event space. This year, we will be introducing a “Culture Cafe Stage” that will feature various artists, hair care experts, and a genealogist that allows attendees to collaborate with each other to create an Uptown Family Tree. There will be free games, prizes, food, and live entertainment assuring fun for everyone!
In addition to our community partners, we are seeking individual donations as well to assist in covering the costs of the event. Material costs include: event shirts, resource bags, game materials, prizes, printed materials, food and drinks. We appreciate your time and consideration. If you choose to make a donation to the event, you can do so online (SponsorJuneteenth2024) or with a check payable to – Voice of the People, Inc.
